Bookavilla is offering customers over 13000 properties to book from online. From a customers perspective that is great obviously. The site is clear and easy to navigate and there are a lot of properties to choose from meaning the site will quickly become a popular easy to remember resource for anyone looking to book a villa abroad.
Unfortunately for a property owner, sites with lots of properties tend not to do too well for bookings, largely because customers often don’t get to see the property in the first place due to the (in some cases) vast numbers of properties in certain areas.
Why we are different:
Although we have 13000 properties available to choose from, many of these are displayed using what is known as an xml feed from our partner website. In many cases a property owner may not even know that their property is on Bookavilla.com until they receive a booking from us. We have in effect 2 databases, our partner database using the property feed and our own database using our own properties.
If a customer uses our site and searches for a property in a certain area, we can instruct our website to show results from our own database before showing results from our partner database. In other words, we can put your property at the top of our listings.
What this means to you:
You’re the cream of the crop!!(well kind of…) Although we may have 1000+ properties in a particular area, you are guaranteed to be on the first 5 pages of your specific area listings (i.e.: Kissimmee).
In many cases while our site is still fairly new you will almost certainly be one of the very first properties to be displayed in your area!
Why 5 pages?
We are limiting our own new property database to only 50 villas and apartments in most areas, that way you are more likely to get enquiries and are guaranteed to be featured in the first 5 pages, increasing everyone’s chances of getting enquiries

We are always looking for quality holiday homes in all regions around the world. The properties we require must be well loved and of course, thoroughly cleaned and maintained between rentals. Our customers are trusting us with their business and their well deserved family holiday. Hi
We are the people behind www.Bookavilla.com. We are about to launch to the general public shortly and I thought it would be a nice touch to have a personal blog to keep you updated on what we are upto.
The basics of www.bookavilla.com are fairly simple , essentially we are a portal for people to advertise their properties in the likes of Spain (www.bookavillainspain.com), Florida ( www.BookavillainFlorida.com), France ( www.BookavillainFrance.com) and Italy( www.BookavillainItaly.com) online to potential customers. Customers then find somewhere they like , contact the owner ( or book through us in some cases ) and then stay in their chosen property.
We have spent months , even years trawling the net and researching our market, picking out features that work , features that can be improved on and sites that we like selecting from the good and “more often” ugly. There really does seem to be hundreds if not thousands of property websites out there. In some cases it seems quite daunting trying to compete in such a big market, in many ways however it gives me confidence that we are already ahead of many, knowing we are offering a better product , often at a better price. Service wise we aim to be number one ( we have loads of great ideas! ). Feature wise we are constantly improving however even at launch stage I am confident that our site is far better presented to potential customers than most out there already. This will keep getting better as we integrate more and more of our ideas.
With an easy to use attractive site , strong branding with a good easy to remember.com ( and .co.uk! ) name, good useful features, strong advertising ( 21 ads in holiday villas magazine alone this month!) and good customer service we are a little fish joining the sharks!
